Tara joined Hearing Health Foundation (HHF), the largest private funder of hearing research in the US, in May of 2012. In her role as Program Administrator, Tara oversees all grants management operations for two funding programs and marketing/communications. Prior to joining HHF, Tara was Program Officer at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research where she was responsible for educational initiatives around clinical trial participation. Before delving into work in the non-profit sector, she spent two years consulting for large healthcare companies building grassroots advocacy networks to promote HIV/AIDS testing, safe plastics in children's toys, and other healthcare issues. Tara holds a Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management from New York University's Wagner School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Syracuse University. Tara lives in New York City and enjoys running, cooking, and traveling.
